Returning to Calacachi
in March/April
Ron returns to Calacachi at the end of March, beginning of April to baptize some of the new believers with Pastor Juan. This church was planted in July 2013 following the successful medical mission in five villages of the Altiplano. Pastor Juan has been making at least two trips a month to lead this village in worship and study of the Word until the rains made it impossible to go in January. The rainy season begins around January 1st each year and lasts until April. Calacachi is on the other side of a river and cannot be reached during high water. But Pastor Juan hopes to return in February and continue leading this new plant.

There is much for which we are thankful. The people of Calacachi continue to have a spiritual thirst for God and talks are beginning about building a multi-use church building for the village. Also, Evangel Fellowship International partnering with Hosanna Christian Ministries of South Carolina has recently approved the grant to match funds used for Calacachi and Pastor Juan. This will be a huge help to the vision in Bolivia to reach the Aymara people for Jesus Christ.
We praise God and thank you, our partners, for your support to make this possible.
Another New Church Plant

In December, Pastor Juan reached out to a town called Oruro. Oruro is a place Lovely Feet Ministries has had its eye on since 2008 when we learned that Satan is worshipped there in for form of an idol called “Tio.” Pastor Juan has begun a new work there as well, planting a church with 3 families. Additionally, a piece of land has been offered to Lovely Feet for purchase for the church…at the cost of only $500. That is not a misprint—we have been offered a piece of land to be used for the glory of God in the middle of a town that worships Satan for $500. Ron will spy out that land in March and bring back some photos when he returns. Pray for Juan as he has been uprooted and moved into this town to birth this work, along with continuing the work in Calacachi.
Specific Need
Moving back to Bolivia

We are excited to move back to Bolivia in 2014. Many of you know we hoped to return in March for good---but funding shortages has prevented us from doing so until later in that year. I hesitate to say shortage, because God’s timing is just right. Please pray for us and if you know of a church or ministry where we can share the vision of this ministry contact us at ron@lovelyfeet.org. We currently have about half of our goal.

Rains Wash out road to Orphanage in Caranavi

As mentioned above, the rainy season has begun and with it, there have been destructive floods. An orphanage we regularly work with has lost its access road and all water. This has left 90 orphans plus the staff with no water, no school, no access to supplies except by footpath through mud and forest for several miles. Please pray for Casa de Esperanza (House of Hope) in Caranavi, and for others who have lost their homes to mud slides and flood.

Sam Goes to the Navy

As many of you know, our youngest son, Sam has worked alongside of us in Bolivia since 2009, giving up “normal” teenage years to live God’s adventure. On February 18, Sam was sworn in the Navy, and left for the Great Lakes Naval Base where he will begin boot camp and the next 6 years working in nuclear propulsion for submarines. We are both proud and tearful. When you think of Sam, please pray for him.

Rhonda preparing to graduate May 2014

Rhonda is completing her thesis for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  In May she will graduate with a Masters Degree in Intercultural Studies.  We rejoice that God has provided scholarship and finances through her job on campus so that she will finish DEBT FREE!  With what she has learned, Lovely Feet will be better equipped to plant churches and make disciples who make disciples.

Please, pray for us.
